14. Get involved with a local festival.

I do this every year in my hometown-a local Celtic festival. It’s the craziest time of my year, but an equal amount of fun to crazy. I probably wouldn’t be much help organizing one of these in Korea, so I will consider this done if I go to a festival in Korea two years in a row or volunteer for one back here.

Progress: Done! I volunteered to sell t-shirts for a street festival in my hometown that I’d never been to before. This festival closes down a whole street downtown for live music, food, and art. The coordinators gave out gift cards so we could have lunch and walk the streets. It was really, really fun, and volunteering was the best part because we were in the shade and got to make friends 🙂
